Only the one reply about this. I decided to wait and see what version 2.0 brings, but don't know when its ETA is.
In the meantime, I'm seriously considering Kings Cart, a solution hosted on their site not mine, but which allows you to put your "Add to Cart" buttons anywhere you like on any page.
