In my checkout billing/shipping form, the placeholder text for my Postcode field in IE8 only appears as: 'POSTC ODE' instead of 'Postcode' as it does in every other browser.
I have tried overriding the placeholder text in my functions and it works in every browser apart from IE8 (it even works in IE7). In IE8 the placeholder text remains unchanged. I can't see how or why this is happening. There doesn't seem to be any js at play - I'm stumped...
Has anyone else seen this or have any ideas? My site is in dev so I can't post a link currently. It's been like this since I first installed Woocommerce on my site (before I even applied my own theme). It's almost like IE8 is trying to be clever and format the word to look like a postcode i.e. making it appear as CAPS and with the space in the middle of the block - but I haven't seen it happen elsewhere, and can't find anything about it online.
