Product thumbnail size not editable after last update

Hi there,

Can you please tell me how you update the product thumbnail sizes now, since your 3.3 update? Previously this was so well done, in image settings. Now it appears you have removed this basic functionality.

In the Customize > WooCommerce > Product Images, there is no option for the product image thumbnails sizing (only for the category thumbnails).

Since your latest update (3.3.2) my product image thumbnails have changed size and completely distorted. There is no height attribute anymore, so they display as squares which they should not.

hi, i was updating woocomerce plugin to 3.3.2,
but I have many problems with this update.
first of all, I cant resize my product thumbnail in widgets, for example, I wanna set 70 * 70 px for my products in the widget area, but when I change “Thumbnail width” in customize, all my shop’s images size will be change.
what should I do? can you help me, please?

Product page with variations – loading out of stock page

Hello

i have a slight issue with product pages that have multiple variations in them, when you click on the dropdown box in the page that i have provided you can see that it does say out of stock next to certain ones, but when you click on them, nothing really happens, but then once you select one of the out of stock and click add to basket the page will reload and display the error message “ou cannot add “Wool Lined Suede Moccasin with Rubber Sole – Light Brown – UK 8″ to the basket because the product is out of stock.”
and below the selection it will say ‘out of stock’ and a link to a email when back in stock below that, and if you then just select one that is in stock these two go away and re appear when another out of stock is selected.

would it be possible to make is so that the ‘out of stock’ message is show as soon as an out of stock variation is clicked, before having to click on the add to basket the first time.

Image regeneration and resize in WC 3.3.2

Hi,

We would appreciate clarification on the fix for image regeneration and resize function in woocommerce 3.3.2.

The earlier Woo versions (starting 3.3), users have faced problems of CPU outage by switching to default themes such as Twenty Seventeen or Storefront, and if the images on the website are hosted elsewhere e.g. Amazon server. The code in class-wc-regenerate-images.php file tries to regenerate all the thumbnails leading to a cron job running continuously and account being limited by host.

The temporary fix has been discussed here and here without any authorised support from WooCommerce team.

The following code temporarily disables the image regeneration and resize functionality:

add_filter( 'woocommerce_background_image_regeneration', '__return_false' );
add_filter( 'woocommerce_resize_images', '__return_false' );

However, has the problem fixed in Woo 3.3.2 version?

Blurred images after updating to 3.3.2

Hi there, since updating to Woocommerce 3.3.2 from 3.3.1 I have noticed that all product images on my website (catalog, thumbs & main product image) have all gone blurry. They were perfectly sharp before the change and I can’t understand why this has been changed. Could someone please clarify the following:

*Tweak – Gallery thumbnail image size to handle small, square cropped images.

Which file and code has been edited for the above change? I need to stop whatever changes have been made in 3.3.2 to the images, as its a totally unnecessary change for my website. Please assist.

After a fresh install of WordPress and Woocommerce 3.3.2 when you go to add new global product attributes the page is blank. No controls show up. Installed 3.3.1 and it’s fine.

Running WooCommerce Version 2.5.5 and seem to be getting frequent duplicate orders lately. Our site does seem to be running slow sometimes.

Contact Short code present but not recognized

Hello to everybody.

I recently checked the state of the woocommerce plug-in (here below) and the returns says the contact short code in the contact page is not present whereas I introduce it in and the contact page of the site is perfectly functional.

Do someone reported this like a bug recently?
How could I do to fix it?
I have try to rebuild the page entirely, without success..

I would appreciate any suggestion!

Why change the product dimensions options….?

In the most recent update, you have moved the product dimension options to the customizer… this is such a bad idea. It was perfect before and you could set your exact width and height of the product images. I really hope you listen to your customers and move it back to how it was.

Why change something that isn’t broke?

Form Product Add On Issue

Hello all, I’ve had some customers call in saying they could not complete my form that I have on my website to order cards from. The link is attached, any insight as to why? Maybe my Host can’t process the large files? I’m unsure where to check at this point. If someone could help that’d be great, I did the form using Woocommerce Product Add Ons.

Admin search products by short description

It’s not working when i try to search the products by short description or description in admin products, but in the frontend works. In the 3.2.6 this is working fine in both (backend and frontend).

Now in the 3.3.3 this is not working.

Good day Woocommerce and Wonderful People,

I wonder why in checkout in woocommerce http://www.uniquestarventure.com/checkout/, after selecting products via shop http://www.uniquestarventure.com/shop (minimum amount should be NGN 5,000) and upon reaching checkout; if i select ‘Express service’, the value for the charge gets added to Your order. Then if i select ‘Charge of N30 shall apply for sms notification sent’ as ‘Yes’, it is suppose to add it to Your Order, but instead, it substitutes the value for Express service.
Please can you guide so we make it work?
I am using Woocommerce checkout manager for assistance.

Your help shall be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

WC 3.3.3 change size ‘shop_thumbnail’

with the addition wc 3.3.2 and 3.3.3 I found myself for the new images loaded the thumbnails in the gallery of the single product with size 100×100, while before the dimensions of the miniatures were taken from those set by media wordpress 180×180.

Is there anybody who can give me the code to insert in my functions.php file in order to change the 100×100 to 180×180 size (same size set in wordpress)?

Woocommerce 3.3.1

When taking a phone order the customer search doesn’t always seem to be working. I can sometimes enter the last name of someone who already has an order in the system and am told that there were no matching customers.

Problem with amount in my Dashboard

I have problem in my dashboard, he indicate 0€ for the amount of order while in Stripe he indicate the good amount.
However it happened two times today, but when i try to remake this, i can’t do it.

Restart Thumbnail Regeneration

Hi guys,
I stopped the thumbnail regeneration as it didn’t seem to be doing anything… regenerated a few then stopped.

Can I manually restart it again?
If I do so will it redo the ones it’s already done or pick up from where it left off?

I have lots and lots of images on my site and being able to stop / pause it then restart might be pretty handy.
