When using WPML Multi Currency, I cannot define shipping cost in different currencies. According to this article: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/handle-multiple-regions-currencies-woocommerce/#section-3 – you can set cost, however, you cannot define costs in different prices.

How can I do this?

I have a problem on my checkout page which prevents customers from ordering. This is a rather embarrassing and urgent problem as you might expect. I looked for all the solutions but I can’t find anything.

When a customer enters his data or simply when he clicks on the page, the order review does not fail to reload. I checked the XHR response from? Wc-ajax = update_order_review and I get the answer:

I get the 200 responses, so I don’t see where the problem is coming from. As soon as the error begins, it is impossible to stop recharging.

I could see that there was a solution by removing ajax from the page but the concern is that the price or the delivery solutions are no longer updated when the client encodes his data.

Hello,

I don’t need any client account on the WooCommerce+Storefront site I’m working on.
What I have done:
– in WordPress General settings, uncheck Anyone can register
– in WooCommerce Accounts & Privacy settings:
— in Guest checkout, check Allow customers to place orders without an account
— in Account creation, uncheck Allow customers to create an account during checkout and Allow customers to create an account on the My account page
– Remove the “My account” button in the mobile version of Storefront, using the code below, thanks to this support thread

Or would it be better/safer to only redirect this associated Page, maybe to the site homepage?

Any other aspects to consider?

Hello,

I have a big big Woocommerce store, and I did my products import quite a few times before I got it right. Now everything is fine, but my IDs are in the 100 000’s. Phew!

Because I deleted and re-uploaded my products many times, IDs kept adding up even if I deleted the old ones.

Maybe it is more a general WordPress question, but is it possible for my next import to use lower, unused ID?

The website is in Dutch (main language) and English, made with polylang. The dutch version is working perfectly, but the whenever I tried to checkout on English page, it redirects me to the cart page. From there the same situation apply, so I can’t go any further than cart. Somehow it works whenever I am logged in as admin. Does anyone has any clue why it is happening? Or maybe point out things I should/could check? I dont have anything specific to this matter written on my .htaccess

Hello,

I have set up woocommerce wiht the cart and checkout pages.

On the product page, when I click on ‘add to cart’, instead of adding it to the cart, I am redirected to the homepage…

I have deactivated plugins in case of conflicts but that didn’t help.

I also have the message; “WooCommerce database update required
WooCommerce has been updated! To keep things running smoothly, we have to update your database to the newest version. ”

I have updated it and run each update correctly however I keep seeing this message.

I don’t know if it is all related but it is driving me mad!

Can someone help me??

Hi there,

I have issue with WooCommerce, when I’m on the My Account page the links don’t work. Basically only dashboard shows, but the others do not. For example, when I click on orders link, it navigates to the http://localhost/my-account/orders but the content stays one of the Dashboard (same for the other links).

I did lot of research on this and this is basically issue I found someone post on YT (the solution however didn’t work, putting it only as reference): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eedbyC_rPEw
I found other similar questions on this forum but nothing seemed to solve my issue.

This issue started seemingly out of blue, as I was hooking up new website, and then it just started doing this. From then on what I did to try and solve issue: install Health Check plugin, entered troubleshooting mode, with only WooCommerce enabled & default theme and the issue still persisted. Then I went into the code and tracked the issue to the wc-template-functions.php file, specifically woocommerce_account_content() function. The issue is that the function is using the $wp->query_vars, but in my case this only contains the page id of my account page. When I initialize $wp->query_vars (just to test) to something like: $wp->query_vars['orders'] = 0; before the foreach loop, the orders page then displays. Also as the result of this, accessing http://localhost/my-account?orders indeed displays the orders page (works for others too, downloads, account details, etc).

I’d like to add something to the end of each link in product categories widget. How can I do it in functions PHP?

I mean there are default links like:
/product-category/category1/
/product-category/category2/
/product-category/category3/

and I’d like to add on the end, so it would look like:
/product-category/category1+cat
/product-category/category2+cat
/product-category/category3+cat

Are there any hooks or something to easily edit these links?

Hi, what I want to achieve is:

Public site: Price is including VAT
Trade site: Price is ex VAT with the suffix “ex VAT ({price_including_tax} inc VAT)”. In the cart it the price is inc VAT.

So far I have set the above suffix to appear to Trade Users to see the price as per this default. I have then set all other users -Admin, guest, customer…- to see the price including tax. Which works, however it doesn’t remove the suffix.

So, can anyone suggest code that will hide this suffix from all desired users.

Hello folks,
I am trying to write a background process by extending existing WooCommerce’s WP_Async_Request and WP_Background_Process.
The problem is that this worked like a charm for a couple of tries and after that it just creates a task in the wp_options without ever starting the actual process.

Anyone ever tried this?

I tried this code on a dev site, but I didn’t see an author section pop up:

I want to change the author, so someone else can get the product review notifications.

I have an issue with the “State” field on checkout. When a user in the USA arrives at the checkout page, before they enter any data, the field is already highlighted with a red outline as if to suggest they have entered an incorrect value.

I have temporarily gotten around this by using the woocommerce_default_address_fields filter to make state optional. However I’d prefer a fix so it behaves as expected.

Good Afternoon,
I am trying to leverage my Payment gateway through Woocommerce. Our site relies heavily on woocommerce. However, we also need to leverage our bank provided merchant services as we’re a BSA Scout Troop and cannot afford the Reserve Accounts implemented by PayPal, Square, et al. Unfortunately, our merchant services provider, Tsys Transaction Express, dropped support for Woocommerce back in 2018. They did give me a copy of the last official release of the Woocommerce extension. I put it in on my staging environment and everything worked great. I moved it to my Production environment and did an actual test with my credit card. Again no issues. Awesome. Then one of my Scout Parent’s went to actually use it. They payment goes through fine and I don’t get any reported issues from my end users, but after the initial test – which again was fine – I can no longer get into Woocommerce screens at all (Orders, Settings, Payments, etc) as it throws a critial error.

I know it’s an issue with the Payment Gateway plug-in and once I deactivte that plug-in I can go into Woocommerce screens again as normal. Obviously, this poses a problem with Completing orders once they clear the merchant services gateway. I have to turn off the plugin, go in and change it to Completed, then go and reactivate the plugin.

I have never dealt with the Woocommerce code so if anyone could give some insight onto how to troubleshoot and hopefully resolve this it would be greatly appreciated.

I’m also not much of a PHP guy, but I have done software development in the past in C# and .Net so I’m familiar with coding, just not very strong in this particular language. I can get by in most cases.

Desired result: Show products that exist BOTH in Category-A and Category-B, but not Category-A or Category-B.

Per the 3 year old thread above, this shortcode works but apparently not if the categories have sub-categories.

[product_category category="category-a,category-b" per_page="9" columns="3" orderby="date" order="desc" operator="AND"]

Any fix for this? Or an alternate way to get this result? Maybe with a category and a tag?
