I’m discovering that WooCommerce sends an email to the admin (and user) when an order is refunded. My client (admin) doesn’t want to receive that email. So I went to the WooCommerce > Settings > Emails to turn it off…and…lo and behold it’s not an option.

WooCommerce support says

there is no out of the box way to do this rather than with some custom code.
So, I’m searching if anyone out there knows of an easy way to disable this email for admins.

I see there is a filter woocommerce_email_enabled_customer_refunded_order from this thread: Preventing WooCommerce email sending only on particular conditions

But is there a filter to disable ONLY the refund email to admins?

Can is use shop page with shortcode perhaps on multiple pages of the site, if so, is it possible to restrict the products I show on each page using categories?

Hello,
When I try put limit the zip code region within the delivery areas, but it doesn’t work.

I put the following range of zip codes, for example: 30000000…349999999
When I go to the cart page, the freight is not automatically recognized.
When I enter the zip code, for example 30575-300, it says “No delivery options were found”
Or, when I put the 30100-000, it’s doesn’t work too.

I’ve tried in the following ways, but it didn’t work:
300*
310*
300*… 349 *

Has anyone had this problem?

Hello. I am having an issue with shipping. Please help me.

So i need 2 shipping methods.
Methods 1: Is for dangerous goods products (aerosols etc)
Method 2: all other products

I am shipping to Tasmania only at this stage. This is how i want my shipping to be set up.
Method 1: “dangerous goods” can ONLY be delivered to certain postcodes within Tasmania. my company will be personally delivering these products to these postcodes with a flat rate shipping of $5.

Method 2: “all other products” I want to be delivered to everyone in Tasmania, with a flat rate shipping of $9.95

I have set up two shipping zones. 1 is for all Tasmania and 2 is “local” where i have put in specific postal codes under Tasmania and assigned a class to my products.

When i put a dangerous goods item in the cart and put in my address for shipping calculation, it is doing this. If i put in an address within the “dangerous goods” postcode, its registering the correct shipping method. if i put in a postal code in Tasmania (out of the postal codes i put in) it just charges $9.95 shipping. I dont want it to be able to send to those customers. and say something like “unable to ship to your location due to dangerous goods”

Sorry my question is confusing, but i have followed other information i have found in forums and its just not working.

Hi Again.

Using WooCommerce Conditional Payments, I have been able to restrict Payments to the limited postcodes we are able to ship to. However the Place order button still appears.

eg, if you order anything, and say choose to have the item shipped to an address in New South Wales, there is no no payment option but you can still place the order. How do I remove the place order button and/or change the text appearing to “We are unable to take your order at this time”

my products are all variable, and I want the add to cart button to appear above the description and not below when the description appears, I have researched and must change the order of priorities, I did it with this code:

remove_action( ‘woocommerce_single_product_summary’, ‘woocommerce_template_single_add_to_cart’, 30 );
add_action( ‘woocommerce_single_product_summary’, ‘woocommerce_template_single_add_to_cart’, 15 );

But it only works if the product is simple and not variable, I can’t do it with variable description.

Products info get imported without images. Google drive did not work because it’s share link does not have .jpeg or a valid image extension at the end and looks like:

We have a WooCommerce store and have setup a Facebook Shop page using your Facebook for WooCommerce plugin. However, it doesn’t appear to have the ability to categorise our products using collections on the page.

I spoke to Facebook and they said that your plugin has shown limitation to include the collection feature on the Facebook Shop. They believe the workaround for users and feedback was that they needed to install additional version or other 3rd party plugin to get a categorize feature on the Facebook Shop.

Can you please let us know how we can setup collections?

Hi,
In advance thank you for any help given, I am facing an issue with product blocks in woocommerce.

Let me explain, to allow for the display of short description in woocommerce products I displayed the list of products using product blocks which gave me the layout my client wanted but then I face another issue.

although the product view is perfect as the client wants you can no longer go to details page or single product page as the product image and title are not linked to the single product details page.

I have searched everywhere and cannot seem to find a way to allow the use of the single product page via product blocks in gutenberg.

Can anyone help with this as to why this is not working.

hello, can’t add product images in editor. for the existing products they appear on product page but not in editor. it happened long time ago, when i used storefront. now, on another theme it’s still the same.

I use Facebook for WooCommerce on more than one eCommerce, but I use it only to keep the Pixel ID in the source code and to track the WooCommerce events. I prefer to manage the catalog manually by data-sheet.

Latest updates do not permit to edit the Pixel ID as before, so I think that in the future will be hard to do anything without synchronize the catalog with WooCommerce. And I do not want to do that.

The question is: is there a valid and always update alternative to track events and keep the Pixel inside the source code? I mean another plugin, I don’t want to add manually the code on each page. It would be very hard to do for me.

Hi,

I’m having an issue with orders not displaying a customers postcode in the order backend for Woo.

I have an address validtor plugin but that dosent seem to translate through.

Has anyone had this before?

Tried custom coding earlier via functions.php but it didn’t work that well.

Seems WC is only taking in the default statuses : Instock, Out of Stock and Back order.

I need the following 2 new statuses :

1) Contact us for Availability –> For stocks that are not managed
2) On Preorder
