Unique Items / Stock Levels

Hi folks,

I have a product which is a standard item (like an asset tag) but every item has a unique number printed on it – like a serial number AQ98-760-987.

These numbers are printed on the tags, but I need to track them. So for example, a customer buys 5 products (which are all the same), but each product has a unique id and barcode. e.g: AQ98-760-987, AQ98-760-988, AQ98-760-989, AQ98-760-990, AQ98-760-991.

I want the cart to assign these asset numbers (AQ…) to the client, so I don’t have to key them in myself at the time of shipping. Is there a way I can create an inventory of say.. 500 x Asset TAG Type 1, which has 500 individual unique items behind it & track the stock too?

Hi, is there any way by which I can disable tax calculations on discount coupons. As per Indian tax system, woocommerce calculates and shows wrong taxes in order details.

Turn product into variation

Hello we have scenario where on product page we have base product + varations selectable from the list that affect the price. And that’s fine as woocommerce provides variable products by default.
The problem is that below we need to list another extra related products that may either serve as independent products that can be purchased separately or be added to base product with variation in form of package. The final price including base product with variations and related products selected must be shown on product page not only on cart page.

So on product page wee need to have like:
base product with variations + related products that user can add to the base and see the price in real time.
Is there any plugin that solve this problem? We’re not sure if product bundles plugin will do the job.
We were considering solution that will turn standard products into variations but can’t find plugin that would make it.

Coupons – Brand restrictions not saving

The coupons found in
Marketing>coupons
Have suddenly stopped working properly

In the coupon menu
Usage restrictions>
on the section where it says “Brand Restrictions”

You select from the list of brands you want the coupon to apply to.
For some reason it has stopped working properly and refuses to save the list of brands you pick. After saving it defaults back to “All Brands”

Can anyone assist how to make this work again? It was working fine but now though it just won’t save the brand list at all.

Do not reduce stock / inventory on hold just on complete statut

Hi,
I have found several snipets but does not work :((
I dont want to reduce inventory / stock on hold statut just on complete statut, do you have solution to help me please ?

I have found this :

function wcs_do_not_reduce_onhold_stock( $reduce_stock, $order ) {
if ( $order->has_status( 'on-hold' ) ) {
$reduce_stock = false;
}
return $reduce_stock;
}
add_filter( 'woocommerce_can_reduce_order_stock', 'wcs_do_not_reduce_onhold_stock', 10, 2 );

but it seem it does not change the stock after complete :((

Review comments disappearing after manual approval

Hi, I’ve got a big problem. When someone wants to add a review of my product, I get the message with the content of the review on WordPress but after accepting the review, the content disappers and instead you see only “review for…name of the product” and the stars that’s it! I lost already a few of the reviews because after accepting then they just disappeared.
Please help!

Orders are showing attributes which shouldn’t be there

When customers are ordering products and selecting their attributes they require. Once the order goes through, looking at the order in wp-admin shows extra attributes which should not be showing as these are not available to select when purchasing.

Looking in the wp_woocommerce_attribute_taxonomies table in the database, this shows the 4 attributes which we have available on the website.

It seems something is pushing specific data through to the order page. These also show when running “print invoice”, so these are visible to the customers.

Missing tables in database since updated

Vendor missing from webhook output

Hi all,

I am using the Woocommerce Vendor plugin as addition to my core setup, but I would like to add the vendor (or at least the id) to the webhook result in Woocommerce. Now, when I check the output of the new product hook, its missing in the metadata.

One of my vendors is using the REST API in combination with the webhooks to follow up new orders, but now they are receiving all the orders and products, and we cannot filter it because the vendor id and/or name is not showing up in the output.

I am looking for a way to add it or filter this output for a specific vendor. There is only one vendor that will use this functionality, so if I need to add some custom code that will interfere with the all the hooks, that’s okay. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Extra merchant data – Klarna

Hi,

I’ve made a woocommerce rental site and am trying to get Klarna to work with it. Klarna’s support says that I need to provide them with “Extra merchant data”.

They’ve provided me with a code snippet, that I’m supposed to adjust. Since it’s a rental site, the extra data Klarna requires is the start time and end time of the rental. So part of the code looks kinda like this:

event_company = Badabaljan
start_time = rental start time?
end_time = rental end time?

So I’m guessing I need to somehow connect the code snippet to the rental calender I’m using. I’m guessing the rental calender outputs a start and end time of the rental when the woocommerce order is created. The question is, how do I get hold of the output code that tells the system when the rental begins and ends? I need to adjust the code so that after the = follows the right code.

Error on trying to add variable product to cart

Hi,

When I try to add a variable product to the cart, I receive this:
Please select some product options before adding this product to your cart.

I have tried several things such as disabling plugins and all. But its still happening.

This is very urgent, so I would appreciate any help.

Partial refunds API error

We have successfully done some refunds and it appears that when we do 100% of purchase, the refund will go through. However, we have had some needs for partial refunds and we are getting an API error message. We use only PayPal payment option.

Problems with rounding before tax

We put in our prices with 20% VAT included (“Yes, I will enter prices inclusive of tax”). WooCommerce then prices a product at 75.39.

Woo calculates that the pre-tax amout is 62.83 and the tax is 12.56. This, of course, is incorrect. The correct values are:
Items Subtotal: 62.8250
TAX: 12.5650
Order Total: 75.3900

The latter is how it looks once I choose the “Number of decimals” to be 4. However, this is not practical for consumers, so I would like Woo to internally calculate these values upto 4 or more digits but to round them on the front-end for consumers.

The function wc_get_rounding_precision() reports 8, so I am not sure why this is happening and how to correctly set things up. This is very important because at the end of the month the total pre-tax amount is incorrect due to the rounding and this leads to some pennies differences between the tax report and the actual sales.

Grouped products thumbnail

Some of my simple products have a little left arrow next to their title in the admin area. As they are not groupped products I do not understand why I see the little arrow.
