Hi there, I’m very new to all of this and it could be that there is a simple solution I’m missing, so thanks in advance for any direction.

I did the first order, to test that I’d set everything up properly and I must have missed something because while the woocommerce tab registers that there is an order, the field beside the check box has no information in it.
I searched the topic and found the suggestion to download health check, and trouble shoot with the store front theme. The I enabled the woocommerce plug ins, but there is no change in the order field.
Everything else works fine, the confirmation emails went through, and the paypal seems to be working, it’s just this one issue as far as I can tell.

I’m hesitant to continue experimenting on my own, as I’ve just started teaching myself how to navigate this world recently.

Dear support,

For our client, e-quine.com, we use WooCommerce for selling products. For ‘normal’ products we set up a tax of 21% and for courses / education we set up a tax of 6%.

However, for some courses more tax is charged, see https://www.mupload.nl/img/n380i7q0pb.34.53.png. We already checked all courses and the right tax is selected.

How can we solve this issue?

Hi,
Been directed here after WC support at a loss like me as to why this is happening.
In short, the redirect url to my aff link is Not firing in the product url box – when you go to click the button: Visit Product – the page just refreshes. But if you input the redirect url straight in the browser it’s not a problem.

This is what I’ve tried so far:

1. Putting the full or the request url in both 301 redirect page and wp editor wc product url box i.e http://menspleasures.com/kiiroo-onyx or /kiiroo-onyx

2. Ran healthcheck plugin, disabled all plugins. Note – WC plugin has to be enabled for WC products to appear on site page in order to test, so started off with that plus the 301 plugin enabled – so 2 plugins enabled and no joy from the get-go.

3. Switched themes

4. Switched 301 redirect plugin.

5. Viewed the video on how to do this correctly – I’m told initially I didn’t configure it correctly from WC support but when I pressed them I got no clarification on how exactly this was as I’m using their WC product plugin through 3rd party – having purchased Generate Press theme.

Is there anyway to change the text displayed when a variable product is out of stock/date?

I would instead like to add a button/link to request that the user be added to a update list. Would that require a separate plugin?

I am having an issue with my woocommerce store trying to change prices. The product data area has changed and the bit on top where you can select affiliate product, bundle, simple has gone and there is no price area. I tried to view the screen options on the product page but nothing happens when I click on it. If I go back to the product list, screen options works fine.

I tried changing theme, disabled several new plugins, switched of litespeed cache.

I keep getting this error on my dashboard after performing a WC DB upgrade:

WooCommerce data update – We need to update your store database to the latest version.
Run the updater

After I perform the update, the Woocommerce database version correctly matches the WC version in the status page:
WC: 3.4.7
DB: 3.4.7

However after a few hours, the message reappears and the DB version goes back to 2.6.4. I have no idea when and why this occurs. It is also causing plugin conflicts after the revert as some WC plugins require WC 3.0+ to be active.

Hello im having a question, i noticed today that a new category is created for orders, there are 2 orders that are been made by my customers but on the admin page it shows like there are mine, also the orders its shown on completed category. the orders was not created by admin but from customers and are payed directly to paypal. its very weird because the orders should only show on completed category and now i see that
Completed Orders are (206) and Mine Orders (2) so in the total orders should shown only (206) but now it show (208)

have anyone same issue? and if there is any trick to fix that?

Hi,

I have a product in my shop which somehow triggers the error message “Sorry, we do not have enough “Classy” in stock to fulfill your order (-145 available). We apologize for any inconvenience caused.” once it is put into the cart.

The problem is that the stock is high. Over 60 pieces are on stock.

WooCommerce stock stettings for low stock is set to 2.

Also I have many products like this one in the shop (same settings, category, etc) but it only happens with the “Classy” product.

It just makes no sense, why is an error message displayed for a product with a high stock?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, I’ve noticed that since version 3.4.6 Shop Managers aren’t able to amend user roles anymore. I’ve deactivated all other plugins and also swapped theme and it still won’t allow it. We are running 3.5.1. It’s an issue because we use a wholesale extension where shop managers need to approve new users by switching their role.

I can’t see any mention of this change in the changelog which suggests to me that it’s a bug rather than a planned functionality change.

I have a woocommerce shop where some of the items I sell are potentilly dangerous chemicals.

For these items (and these items only) I wish to have a checkbox at the checkout that asks “I have read the manufacturers safety data sheet” Only if this is clicked do I want the customer to be able to proceed to payment.

How is the best way of doing this? (there are some plugins that allow me to add a field on the checkout page – but not just for specified items)

Hello,

I’ve update woocommerce in order to install the version 3.5.1. I put items in my cart, then when I go to the cart page, at the top of the page a message indicates: “Sorry, “%s” is no longer in stock (availability -2). We apologize for any inconvenience caused.”

I get this message with a lot of items, not all of them. If I disable the Manage Stock option in WooCommerce → Settings, the problem disappear.

I have the same problem on my other site, I have put back the pevious version of woocommerce.

I tried a loto of solution for remonvig the cart icon from header.

– adding php in functions, for exemple :

function remove_nav_cart_link () {
    remove_action( 'woo_nav_inside', 'woo_add_nav_cart_link', 20);
}
add_action( 'after_setup_theme', 'remove_nav_cart_link' );

– adding css, for exemple :

.header_top .top_nav .header_socials a.cart_count { display: none !important; }
#top .wc-nav li.cart {display: none !important;}#top .wc-nav li.checkout{display: none !important;}
#Top_bar a#header_cart { display:none }

etc…
– searching in Customize > Layout > WooCommerce ( but not present ) or in other menus (found nothing )
– trying to modify my theme “Go to \wamp64\www\….\wp-content\themes\yourtheme\includes\header-top-bar-right and comment a line” but woocommece didn’t change my theme files when i installed, so the ligne to fix doest exist.

Hi I am trying to set up a free shipping for one product only:

I am trying by adding a Shipping class. I have created a shipping class and a new shipping zone. I have added Flat rate option and I can see the new class created – and I have added cost 0 (I have tried 1 as well), and assigned this class to the product. However when I got to check out it calculates base on the other 2 shipping zones set (Free Shipping for specific postcodes set up).

I have 3 shipping zones set up:
Local Delivery set to United Kingdom & restricted to UK and specific post codes (Free)
Another for UK – Flat rate
Free for Bookable – set as a Flat rate to 0 – but it doesn’t calculate it.
For some reason it seems to be picking up the first option for all products.

I am following this tutorial:

How can I set up so that specific products have free shipping based on postcode, and another one should be just Free shipping.

We have resisted updating WooCommerce because it makes changes that seriously alter the layout that we have worked had to implement. Cannot tell you how frustrating it is when “Updates” come along and it changes our layout. Your most recent version – every single time you put it so price displays when we specifically have it turned off. We are a Catalog type site so we do not want pricing showing.

Your Product Categories widget now has a different layout and a search. We do not want a search in our Product Category Widget – We all ready have a search widget we prefer using. Also if someone clicks the “x” of an item in the Product Category Widget it takes them automatically to the “shop” page which we DO NOT want them to go to. So now we have to deal with what “YOU” think we want for the Product Category Widget or completely eliminate that widget from the sidebar which is what we am going to have to do. We LIKE the older version of the Product Category widget – simple – drop down menu – select an item and it takes you right to what you want.

After further exploration you have change all the widgets to include this “Search” feature and if “x” is clicked it takes them to the shop page. What a mess you have created……..We DO NOT want a “Search” feature in any of the widgets we use on the side and we DO NOT want the ability to click an “x” within the widget. Please put it back to what it was before.

Also another series issue – when we go to edit the product – if we made changes we had the opportunity under where it says “Publish” to “Preview Changes” before updating. That “Preview Changes” is gone. And this is in direct coalition of having updated to WooCommerce 3.5.1.

Not a fan of your latest updates and luckily we have tried this on a staging site. We are resisting updating on our live site for as long as possible until the items that are important to us are fixed.

On the new order notification email, you have Order Number and Date. What I’m trying do is remove/hide the order number next to the date, or at least make it non clickable.
