Hi, I am trying to move my emails to Cron job via this filter:
add_filter( 'woocommerce_defer_transactional_emails', '__return_true' );
But it seems that nothing changes, my emails are still being sent immediately and while checking WP-Cron logs provided by WP Crontrol plugin I can’t see anything related to mail.
Can you please advice how I can check if the hook is fired and tell me what’s the name of related Cron job?

P.S. I am using SMTP mail plugin and my cron is managed via server

With chrome, a page refresh does the job. With Firefox, it does not, even a new tab/window will show the same layout (even with a cache clear with [Ctrl] + [F5]).

I have the plugin WooCommerce working perfectly. The only issue is when a new order is added. Neither client and seller get an e-mail notification. E-mails are functioning fine. If I process an order or conclude it, emails notifications will be sent.

What can I do to configure an email notification for every new order added?

All my products are sandals and bags and all of them are variable products. For example a sandal have variations: Color, Texture, Style, Heel Type and Size.
When I filter products on the shop page I use for example Color: Red and Texture: Fabric. As a result I get all the products that might have Red color Or Fabric. I need this to work with AND logic.

Let me give you a more detailed example.
Product name: Sandal Apollo
Colors: Red, Natural and Black
Texture: Leather and Fabric
Size: 44,45,46
It has variations like this:
Red – Leather – Any size
Natural – Leather – Any size
Black – Fabric – Any size

If I search for Red sandals with Fabric (texture), I will get in result the above example sandal also. This is wrong since Red and Fabric are not in the same variation.

How to make this work properly?

I do jewelry and my shipping weight is very minimal. I have been currently just charging a flat rate of $4.5. I would like to give an option of an upgrade to $7.50 if a customer would like that option for shipping. I only ship U.S.

I am not sure just how I could do that. Any help on how getting that done would be appreciate. I have went years without it. But I had a couple of people wanting last minute orders for Christmas. I just went to Paypal and sent them an invoice for the whole sale instead of running it trough the site. Tom

Hi,

I need advice on the product search function.

For example, i have 3 products on my website. AAA Watch, BBB Watch and CC Cap.

when I type “watch” on the Search Product field located on the website sidebar, it directed to this https://culturecartel.com/?s=watch&post_type=product page which display 2 “watch” products.

If I type “cap” on the Search Product field, it directed straight to the Single Product page, i think it is because there is only one “cap” product. Is there any way even having one product, it will still direct to the page like https://culturecartel.com/?s=watch&post_type=product?

Any codes to do it?

I am facing issue with pending payment orders. Even after 2 or 3 days, their status is not changing to cancelled. I have set the limit to 60 minutes but still the status of orders is not changing to cancelled. I started facing this issue only 3-4 days back.

Would appreciate your help. So, when you point the mouse on the product, under the thumbnail usually appears “select options” or similar ad. I managed to hide with css from variables using as below, but it still remains the horizontal line which appears when you point the mouse, how do I rmeove it?

Also the code below did not remove the appearing add on single product, how can I solve this?

Hi,

After having two issues with CSV files on my live WooCommerce shop and discussing it with your email support, I also post the problems here for further investigation:

Issue no1: CSV files not appearing on media library grid mode

I made the following test:

I created a clean installation of WP on my server and without any plugins activated (just with Twenty Twenty default WP theme), I uploaded manually via FTP one of my CSV files (file1.csv).

After checking my media library, I was able to see the CSV file1 on both list and grid view of it.

On 2nd phase, I installed only WooCommerce plugin. Please check my screenshot here:

After that, I uploaded another CSV file (file2.csv) but this time not manually via FTP. but via default importer of WooCommerce. After checking my media library, I was able to see the CSV file only on list view and not on grid view this time.

After the above test, I suppose that this issue is related with default Import mechanism of WooCommerce plugin. Could you please make the same test on your end and inform me if you get the same appearance error?

Issue no2: CSV files removal from server after a certain period of time (usually almost 24 h)

After uploading via WooCommerce import all of my shop products (10 CSV files) yesterday, I was able to see them at my media library (only at list view and not on grid view as already mentioned above) and at my /wp-content/uploads/2019/12 folder. In addition all images and attributes were assigned normally to the products without issues (all CSV files are created according to official documentation of WooCommerce). After checking my live site today, I see that all CSV files that I have uploaded yesterday are disappeared (I don’t see them at my media library list view nor at my /wp-content/uploads/2019/12 folder). This doesn’t have any affect on the products, they are all still appeared correctly on both back-end and front-end of my site. I can say with safety that none of my plugins are responsible for this deletion as they were all de-activated since yesterday and I had only default storefront theme enabled. I don’t know if the issue is maybe related with WP default settings for CSV files (or maybe WooCommerce default settings) or with specific settings of my server on Siteground. From my side, it sounds like a CRON might be involved on this case.

My understanding is, to add a product first, then add the attributes and then variations.
I don’t get it to work, does anyone has detailed information of how I can add variations to a product?

I have deletet the Site “My Account” and recreatet it with the Settings in Woocommerce but now in the My Account – Oders Tab it only shows the Orders that are placed from the point of recreating the site up till now.

I can see all the past orders in the backend and want to show them also in the frontend to the user.

When I checked the Report, Woocommerce advised me to Update the Woocommerce-Database. I did so but the Problem persists. Here is the Report after the DB Update:

I already cleard browser Cache with strg + F5 and deletet the User Cache of Ultimate Member but the Problem still persists.
However, all new orders are displayed perfectly.

Also this Code-snipped only shows the new createt orders:

I also tried to to deactivate all other Plugins and switchet theme to twenty-seventeen but the Problem still persists.

Hi Dear community of WooCommerce!

I need your help. Today I ran into something that is impossible for me, even though I’ve been in the industry for a little over 7 years.

The manufacturer of the goods I sell, offers 3D files of the products. The manufacter offers the following file types: .3ds, .dwg, .mtl, .obj and .skp.

I would like to have a standard image .jpg or .png on the product page first and possibility to view the product in 3d version for example, by clicking on an “360” icon somewhere near product image.

It should be easy to use, simple, stylish and modern. No matter if it’s free or paid, all help, tips and info are welcome. What is needed now are plugin or solutions created by a true professionals with high-quality code.

Hello,

I’m running into some issues setting up my store. I’ve tried everything and I give up.

Tax:
I disabled automatic taxes. I want to be able to add my prices included of tax everywhere. And only a specification at checkout which part of the total amount tax is. Every change I made in tax settings or in product settings will add extra tax at check out. So frustrating. Am I missing an option or do I need to calculate all prices myself?

Affiliate disclosure:
I have a plugin that automatically places this disclose at all my post/pages. There usually is an option at the bottom to ‘hide disclosure’. However at the bottom of my product pages there is no option to hide it. How do I disable this at my products pages?

Appearance:
Some buttons (like add to cart) don’t display the text. The button is working, but you can’t see the written words. There is no option in theme appearances to change this. And the button on the rest of my site are good.

Sorry for all the questions. I’m on the edge of giving up and moving over to Shopify 😉

Hey,

I have Woo set so it generates a password for a new user.

When a user goes to log into site using the password mailed to them from Woo, it keeps saying Incorrect password

If I go into ‘Users’ within WP and change the password by editing that particular user, this new password doesn’t work either?

I can log in as an admin fine.

Any ideas would be great?
