Hello to you all at wordpress.org
am reaching out to you because i find using wordpress.org and most links point to wordpress.com very confusing i have many issues with my site and then i had a site update that just made things worst. now through hours of searching it seems that wordpress work along side github am not familar with the structure of github but if your a developer or plugin expert ora developer there are specific sections for you to submit work updates ect ect. but i just could.nt find anything for user help in general could you give me a few specifics how to navigate through wp- of github to get some help and advice please.

Some time ago we uninstalled the ‘WooCommerce Admin’ because it made our backend slow. We didn’t miss it.

This morning we updated WooCommerce to version 4.0. To our surprise some sort of ‘Woo Admin’ seems to be built in this new version. Am I right?

The Woo-analytics tool is pretty slow on our site. Charts take a long time to load (even while we’re in test-mode and have only on registered order).

Is there any option to disable this function?

After upgrading to 4.0.0 the below message appears on dashboard:
“Your store is configured to serve digital products using “Redirect only” method. This method is deprecated, please switch to a different method instead.”

the link provided points to the root of the domain

, which in my case results in failure, because the shop is installed in a subfolder and there is anouther wordpress site in the root of the domain 😀

I am creating a product and I need some product fields to appear conditionally.
I have a shirt, and the customer can choose between sizes and characters they want on their shirt.
Depending on the character they choose, another variation select will appear in which they can choose the shirt color design.
For example, if they choose character x, black and red, green and grey colors will be able to be selected. If they choose character y, blue, yellow and white colors will be available.

How can i make conditional fields on woocommerce?

Not seen mention here or twitter but just wondering if anyone else is having an issue with blank order emails (all order types) arriving to emails (no content just subject).

As I’ve just updated to 4.0, I did disable all other plugins and emptied my functions.php file and underscored my woocommerce folder in my theme.

The email log shows the email template correctly, I’ve reverted back to 3.9.3 and email are displaying correctly.

First of all: sorry if this was already posted. I tryed searching the forum and the web with no luck. And sorry if my english is incorrect or not clear enough.

So, i have a problem. I need my WooCommerce to update the tracking number on a particular order by using a barcode reader.

The situiation is: my client wants to use a barcode reader to read a barcode with the tracking number and somehow this information goes directly to that particular order.

Or whatever method to automate this action.
He is all about automation, so thats what i am aiming…

I dunno if this exists or even if it is possible.

We are using woocommerce (bookings) which works great. For products but also for the bookings, which are time based etc.

In Woocommerce I have setup the sync with the google calendar. Works also great. However the phonenumber of the customer, is never send. While this is one of the most important things for us. My question is:

How can we add the phonenumber (and email) directly into the google calendar?

Hello, I believe I am on WP.org as reqired but if not I apologize. I’m only 1/2 way literate in this field.

The issue I am having is this… I am updating my site with new pics to and have worked to get all views clear(not blurry). When navigating to a product page the reduced size image is clear. If I click on a gallery image, that reduced size image is not clear. If I reload the page with a gallery image still displaying, it becomes clear. So it is somehow loading gallery images(not the tiny thumbnails) blurry until I reload the page which I assume is somehow reloading the image correctly.

Go to the link and select the second gallery image. If it is clear, navigate back to “shop” and then back to “suppressor insulator” and then select the second gallery image again. For me it is blurry until I reload the page. Any insight to why this is happening? Thanks in advance.

Hello,

It’s time for the woocommerce developper team to fix essential bugs.

The “manage stock” of variable products is already some shit. It even can’t calculate the total amount of variants in stock, so variable parent products “manage stock” has to be turned to “no”.

But for backorder status of variable products it’s even worse !

Impossible to change it with the classical woo bulk editor included in the plugin, no ! You’ll need to export all products, then to create the new collumn “backorders” and set “yes”, “no” or “notify” for EACH VARIATIONS !

They intelligently forget to include this collumn (with many others like the slug collumn) to let you think you’ll need their shitty import/export module plugin. Which even don’t include the slug collumn by the way 🙂

Maybe you even can’t import the backorder status with a classical import.
I made that with WP all import, which is, by the way, a must have for stores who work with xml/csv files.

I wasn’t expecting such issues with one of the most used e-commerce platform in the world.

I am having an issue with the Google Shopping feed, I am getting Invalid value for category [sale price] errors but for items that aren’t on sale.

The feed was working fine but the website moved to a new web host.

1- I had a customized translation for product sorting options in archive pages, it’s not translatable anymore after the update! https://prnt.sc/rerm4c

2- The term “Reviews” also is not translatable. https://prnt.sc/rermr0

I have updated the template file (.pot) via loco translate and also synced the translation file.

But could not solve it. However, I was able to translate new strings via this method.

Hi! I’m struggling getting PayPal Checkout working :/
PayPal Standard is working but PayPal Checkout gives an error (Your PayPal checkout session has expired. Please check out again) after being sent back from PayPal to the shop.

I already tryed:
– disable Woo-related Plugins
– switch to Storefronttheme

No change 🙁

Any idea? Tipps are appreciated 🙂

Good Afternoon,

New to Woocommerce.

Just migrated over from WP-Ecommerce, and am trying to keep the product permalinks the same.

I’ve set the following under: Product permalinks custom base:
product-pages/%category%

The only thing is by doing the above you end up with a really long url structure, as the parent category is included in the url too.
I would like to be able to remove the parent part of the category, so that the following is achieved:

domain/products-pages/sub-category/prodcut description
e.g, at the moment the following would show:
domain/products-pages/main-tools/hand-tools/brick-trowel.co.uk would show,

and we would like to achieve:

domain/products-pages/hand-tools/brick-trowel.co.uk

so that the hierarchical (parent part) of the url is removed.

In WP-Ecommerce there is an option to remove the hierarchical part of the url, to achieve the desired result.

Would anybody have any ideas of suggestions on the above?

Also, using All in one seo plugin, so not sure if we would end up with duplicate urls, by trying to achieve the above?

Any advise, would be very much appreciated!
