Hello,

I’m using a Storefront – child theme and notice that the authors name is no longer appearing on blog posts.

I haven’t changed the child theme code so I don’t understand what could be causing the issue.

I disabled all plugins and the authors name still doesn’t show.

When I changed themes from Storefront-child to WordPress’ stock TwentyTwenty ‘admin’ shows up as the authors name which is still
Incorrect but it is showing a name.

Hi, I have problem with color filter in my shop.
I added two widgets to my shop sidebar, first is ‘yith ajax filter’ and second is ‘filter products by attribute’ as you can see in my ss -> https://prnt.sc/mJzrYWEilGf_

Problem is that i have 1600 products in my shop and each has attribute color, after i click on one color i get maybe one product or maybe no one.

at the time of payment for the order, (payment by the standard payment of your plug-in “Cash”. There are no plug-ins for payment yet – the store is under development)

Is it possible with some kind of plugin to have an attribute with multiple selections.
Example: Attribute – Color – Yellow, Red, Blue, Green
That the customer can select how many values he / she want (1 value, 2, 3 or 4).

My main shoppage is set to /producten/ (Dutch for /products/)

The theme I use is set up to put the sidebar to the right on normal pages, but on Woocommerce the sidebar is put on the left side.

Since a little while (not sure how long), the /producten/ page is set to “Standard template”, which causes the body to include the class “archive”. Causing the sidebar to be set on the right side (which is wrong). It also stops showing the rest of the product and only shows the categories, despite my setting on the Woocommerce dashboard.

If I edit the page and set the page-template to “Woocommerce achrive”, the page goes back to showing the sidebar to the left (correct) and actually does show the products (as well as the categories) exactly as my settings for Woocommerce.

But the next day, the page is put back at “Standard template”. For some reason the setting “Woocommerce archive” isn’t saved. Which causes my /producten/ page to show the sidebar on the wrong side.

I have contacted the theme-author (theme: Shoptimizer), and they have tried to help me with the problem. We deactivated all plugins and have been activating them slowly over the last week. But no improvement. As far as the theme author could discover, the problem is dat Woocommerce resets the template somehow.

Can you help me fix the problem? I now have to edit the page every single morning.

I’m trying to find a plugin for Woo that can generate pdfs of product detail pages on-the-fly. I’ve been looking at the docs for Woo Store Catalog PDF plugin but the documentation is actually quite thin, and I can’t tell if it can generate a pdf of a product detail page.

My client has thousands of products that they want to have downloadable pdfs of, and they don’t want to spend weeks creating them all. Can Woo Store Catalog PDF plugin do this? If not, can someone recommend a professional plugin that can do this?

I found WooCommerce Print Product plugin from weLaunch which seems to do what I need, but I’m always skeptical of plugins that are not found on wordpress.org. I like to know how many active users there are, how often the plugin is updated, how long it has been supported, etc., etc. Does anyone know anything about this plugin?

Hello,

I’m having issues while editing in the WordPress visual editor.

Each time that I switch between the HTML editor to the Visual Editor, many of the   are suddenly removed…
Which makes me lose the spaces that I have added and displays incorrectly.

I have tried to use the solution that I found in the forum and it isn’t working:

I used the php code found in that thread and tried to replace the   by the shortcode [nbsp]. In order to do this, I added a code snippet with the code snippet plugin. It doesn’t work for me! 🙁

Hello. I’ve a shop with digital products. Sometimes the customer doesn’t have a download link in the completed order email. It doesn’t happen always, its random.

My table woocommerce_downloadable_product_permissions is not missing, as I said, this happens randomly. Sometimes the customer gets the link inside the email and sometimes it doesnt.

How to change the name of the attachment filename, which the customer downloads?
`At the moment the file is called “filename.zip”.

Is there a possibility to change the filename to “ORDERNUMBER-filename.zip” or “userid-filename.zip”?

Hi.
I need some help with the product view in my store. In mobile view, the product gallery and the product title are displayed side-by-side, which looks congested and not user-friendly. I want to display it such that, the product images come first in one single row and the title, category, tags, etc. come below (only in mobiles).
The desktop view is just fine.
Can someone suggest as to how I solve this?

Hallo,

im Warenkorb von unserem woocommerce shop werden die Versandkosten für Deutschland zum Anklicken angezeigt, darunter der Versandkostenrechner.

Wenn nun aber ein Kunde, der sich nicht registriert hat, also Gast ist, aus dem Ausland kommt und in seinen Warenkorb geht, sieht er zuerst die Versandkosten für Deutschland.
Nur wenn im Versandkostenrechner Land Ort PLZ eingegeben werden, werden die richtigen Versandkosten in der Kasse gezeigt und berechnet.

Wie kann man dies ändern?

Der Kunde muss ja nicht den Versandrechner benutzen und es verwirrt wenn nur die deutschen Kosten zuerst angezeigt werden, sogar mit kostenloser Lieferung

Hat jemand eine Idee wie das lösbar ist?
Kann man es auf der Warenkorb Seite irgendwie so einrichten, daß der Gast erst sein Land eingeben muss und dann eine Auswahl der möglichen Versandkosten erhält?

I use Storefront theme and use Backorder Management Pro to limit backorder quantity.

Backorder setting. 1- allow back-orders : allow but notify customer 2- backorder description : – xyz

In single product page and checkout page – “xyz” is displayed but in “order confirmation/thank you page” – “backordered:1” was displayed instead of “xyz”.

I expect the same display (“xyz”) in single product page, checkout page and order confirmation/thank you page. Pls help to find a solution.

I have difficulties to understand Woocommerce behaviour.

Situation:
I have product X in stock with quantity 1
I make order manually for my customer via admin panel and add this product to the order and leave order in Pending payment status – so that I can give a payment link for customer. With other statuses there is no option to give a payment link. Stock is not reduced. With On hold status the stock is reduced but there is no payment link available. If I copy the payment link, put order On hold and give link to customer Woocommerce says that it can not be payed because of On hold status.

At this point with status Pending payment this product X should be reserved for the order – I have reserve products / hold stock option (under Products – Stock page, 2nd row) set for a long time.

Keep in mind that it can take hours or few days for customer to make the payment.

But if I make a test order I can add this product X with quantity 1 to my cart (which already is bad) and even make the order without problem (which is even worse)! At this point the Woocommerce should have told that the product is out of stock and order can not be made. Someone can buy the product when I wanted it to reserved for the order I made.

When I make the order and set the product X stock quantity to 0, to avoid anyone else able to buy it, and if customer tries to pay it it is impossible because Woocommerse tells that there is not enough product X in stock because it possibly tries to change stock quantity from 0 to -1

I really wouldn’t like to make my products private or behind password to be able to make manual orders and make sure products are reserved for customer. Product backorder option allows stock quantity to go below 0 but it is not an option for me either.

If I am correct Woocommerce reserves products correctly when customer does the order via website and order is in Pending payment status. Maybe there is something wrong when made via admin panel?

Tell me what I am doing wrong?

Hi,

On one of the websites, I am managing, the plugin WooCommerce Distance Rate Shipping is installed, currently with version 1.0.26.
I tried to update it, but I get an error, stating the download url is invalid.
It COULD be something with a license, since I assume, my customer’s credit card is expired, but I can’t see anywhere a license option on this plugin.
