Upon update of WooCommerce today, I was asked to update the database (a common message after updating WooCommerce). Upon doing that, I received the following error:

Update: Apple Pay button does show in safari private mode but not normal mode

I’m struggling to get the Apple Pay button to show in my store. I have it all set up and the Pay Now button shows on my Android phone, but no Apple Pay button on my iPad, if anyone could help me out that would be appreciated. Thank you!

Can you please tell me if the following code that I added to my child theme’s function.php file is causing your latest update to recognize the file as outdated? I can’t find any updates for this theme. Therefore, I’m not sure why after I applied the update that I’m getting the out of date file message or why it says that there are outdated Woocommerce files in my theme. Here is the code:

I’m using storefront child theme and on the checkout page I would like to change the billing address form to shipping address. I will be using paypal as may payment processor for credit cards. If I understand to process correctly, the billing information will be entered on the paypal site and all I need is the shipping information to send the product to the customer.

For a non-developer, is there a easy way to remove the billing address header change to shipping and the ship to different address section?

I have been able to find a lot of answers on mine own using these forums. they have been a great resource but I need some help with this one.

With these forums, I have been able to modify site with additional css and snippets plugin.

After the 4.0 Woocommerce update, I am receiving the following:

Your store is configured to serve digital products using “Redirect only” method. This method is deprecated, please switch to a different method instead.

I cannot use the other options like FOrce Download, since I have all the files in Google Drive.

Is there an alternative to provide External links to my customers.

(woocommerce 3.9.3) For some reason one of our shops is not clearing the sessions correctly. Our customers complain that coupons are “used” when in reality they are stuck in session. I went to look the database and found that there was 151 session rows in woocommerce_sessions table. So then I used the WP Crontrol to trigger the woocommerce_cleanup_sessions which should clear them but it only remove 2 of all 151 sessions. BUT if I use clear customer sessions action from Woocommerce status/tools it clears them away. So whats going on with the cron job not clearing them all?

Hi, I have wordpress and woocommerce on my site. I have found on pages one problem. My wordpress pages are bilingual (Finnish and English). I have add to image and text with pages (both language) management side. I have add Woocommers Short code both page too ([product_categories number = “0” parent = “5”]). The other shop page displays all the text, images, and store page shortcode normal. The problem is that the other store page displays only the shortcode content, not other content. I don’t understand why that happen, so that’s why I have send my message. I try to explain that problem to best, but please note at english is not my mother tongue. I hope some developer try to find out why those things happen. It would be nice if this problem missing eg when updating wordpress or woocommerce again. Thanks.

Hi,

We use the WooCommerce API to sync the orders from WooCommerce in our own system. For this we use the endpoint:
/wp-json/wc/v3/orders?updated_at_min=2020-03-10T00:00:00Z&per_page=10

This gives us all the info needed. Now we want to start using WooCommerce Bookings. Unfortunately the booking period is not included within the above call.

I have found that I could call:
/wp-json/wc-bookings/v1/bookings
to list all bookings. But as more and more orders are coming in, this is going to be a large list. So, I want to filter on order_id or order_item_id

I’ve tried things like:
/wp-json/wc-bookings/v1/bookings?order_id=12345
/wp-json/wc-bookings/v1/bookings?order_item_id=321
wp-json/wc-bookings/v1/bookings?filter[order_id]=12345
wp-json/wc-bookings/v1/bookings?filter[order_item_id]=321

This all seems to not do anything, it returns the same bookings even when I change the order or order item id to something that does not exist.

I’ve tried to look at this page: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/bookings-action-and-filter-reference/
Unfortunately I have no idea how to use this. I could find woocommerce_booking_json_search_order_number which should “The order number being searched for when editing a booking.” but adding this to the url doesn’t work.

We have a multistep checkout based on flatsome theme and the site is served to 3 different countries, that we ship to.

Now that I am testing with Woo4.0, in our address form we do not show a shipping method selection. We offer one generic method per country. But when clicking continue the address form validation complains about the missing shipping method – which it did not in Woo 3.9.3.

When overriding the filter WC()->cart->needs_shipping() with something like this:
add_filter(‘woocommerce_cart_needs_shipping’, function() { return false; }); I can continue in the checkout and create the order, but obviously it will then be created without a shipping line item.

Is there a way to pre-select a shipping method and store it in the cart/session based on my current domain/country, in order to avoid this error?

Hi all,

I have a potential issue, I have a test site waiting to go live, we are using the Product Addons plugin to allow customers to request additional paid-for options to a product.

If a user add a product to the cart with some of these addons selected the cart gets updated correctly. But if the user then adds another of the same base product but without any of the addons selected, when you go to the cart this second product has the first products addons applied to it too.

both these items have the same productid as they essentially the same product just with different addon options selected by end-user
